Fat transfer surgery is performed in London either under general anesthetic or under local anesthetic with sedation and is treated as a day case, meaning you will not have to stay in the hospital overnight. The procedure usually takes one hour.

BBL Recovery and Aftercare
Once your surgery is complete, you’ll need someone to drive you home so you can rest and begin the healing process. You will be given a compression garment to wear to help your butt adhere to its new shape.
Most patients report some swelling, bruising, or tenderness near the fat harvesting incision locations and buttocks injection sites. These should gradually subside over the next few weeks. To mitigate this discomfort and ensure proper healing and desired results, you will likely need to take two to three weeks off from work (six if your job involves heavy lifting).
